While free services will just give you the owners name and address, paid services can give you name, address, relatives, neighbors, birthday, occupation and more.
Some of the really good paid services also give you access to other databases, such as people records. Pay a small onetime cost, and you'll be able to perform an unlimited number of searches, across a large number of databases. You could scan every single number on your spouse's phone if you wanted to.
These services do exist, and they can be well worth looking at. Just keep in mind that while there are some great places, there are also a number of junk services that won't do you any good. You just need to know where to look.
