Wait… Read This Before You Make Another Purchase To Help Your Business

Are you one of those people who buys information product after information product and coaching service after coaching service trying to find that “magic pill” to catapult your business to the next level? I know I was. I was buying every new product under the sun that was going to be the next big breakthrough for me.

I didn’t know how to sort it all, I didn’t know how to organize it all, and yet I kept on buying. Again, looking for that magic pill.

Does this sound familiar to you?

Well, I want you to stop everything you’re doing. I want you to look at your inventory. I’ll say it again, look at your inventory! What have you purchased already? This was an eye opener for me, folks. I collect everything. Everything I buy, I save it all. I’m always on the Internet looking for new articles. I save the articles. I download all the free books. I download all the free audio. I have a massive hard drive just stacked full of information products.

When I finally stopped and looked at my inventory, a whole bunch of light bulbs went off because not only did I already have the information that would help me get my business rolling, but I had purchased things that I had completely forgotten about, and not only was I looking to buy them again, but I had, in fact, bought the same product more than once. I felt so embarrassed when I realized it, but when I shared that embarrassment with a few people, I found out I wasn’t the only one.

Look at your inventory. What have you bought? What software products have you bought? What resources have you bought? Have you bought any courses? If so, what were they? What topics were they on? What about any audio programs? Have you filed any articles?

What about E-books? I know some of you have a huge E-book collection out there, but have you really read them? Have you gone through them? Have you extracted value from them? What about videos? I’m talking VHS, I’m talking DVDs, I’m even talking about online videos.

What about newsletters? How many newsletters do you have? It’s hilarious because I have all these E-mails. I sign up for every single newsletter I possibly can. Recognize what information you have. Again, with newsletters, there’s online, but then there’s printed newsletters. I get several printed newsletters every single month.

What about coaching programs? Are you in any coaching programs right now? If so, are you honestly extracting the most amount of value from them? I am a part of the AM2.0 Platinum group which I paid $16,000 to be a part of, and I can honestly say that I never got the most amount of value from it until the last four months of the program, and it was a one-year program. When I focused and paid attention to the information I was provided, I more than made my money back. It was like a light bulb went on when this whole process started to open up for me, and that’s when I really started to extract the most amount of value from it.

It’s all part of the inventory that you probably have, that you’re not taking advantage of right now.

What about actual seminars that you go to? And not only the seminars, but the seminar notes? Do you take notes at seminars? I guarantee you probably do.

Now, let me ask you an honest question: Have you gone back and looked at those notes? That’s a tough question because there are a lot of gems contained in those notes, and I bet 99% of them have gone to waste. Why? Because as soon as you get back home, you get back in the same routine and you start buying the same information again and again and again, when you already have it. It’s there. Use it.

Then there’s also podcasts and blogs and all kinds of audio downloads. I want you to look at the information you’ve already got. Then, not only that, but I bet there’s products you’ve purchased where you possibly have some resale rights to, or you bought some public domain material, or perhaps you have private resell rights.

When I started to realize all the tools and products that I could create from the content that I’ve already purchased, I was sitting there thinking, “Why am I ever buying any more material?” It was mind boggling to me.

What I did was I looked at my inventory and I really started to cut away the fat, if you will. I started to cut away the information that I didn’t need, that I wouldn’t use, and that did not fit with my strategy. For me, it was tremendously valuable. It was a huge release. I really started to narrow down and focus on the information and the people that were going to help me the most.
